Our Annual Church Meeting

Tuesday 5th May, 7.30pm at the church.

It's that time again (already!) We're going to be having our annual meeting on the 5th May. The meeting will be in two parts - the first bit will be where we elect our Churchwardens, and this will be followed by a meeting where we think together about everything that's happened over the last year or so (technically, the meeting covers the whole of 2025, and not 2026). The second part of the meeting is also where we elect new members onto the PCC (and we have a few vacancies this year).

We are also revising our electoral roll. If you want to have a say in the meetings, or have the chance to be on our PCC (the church council), you need to be on the electoral roll. If you're a regular at Christ Church, but not yet on the roll, I want to invite you to prayerfully consider joining it - it's not about membership of the Church of England, but more about having proper representation for Christ Church locally and nationally.

If you want to find out more about the meetings, or about signing up to the electoral roll, please get in touch by clicking here and filling in the form.

Planning your Visit

We're so glad to see you!

Happy people worshipping in the church

We meet together every Sunday morning at 10:30am, and we'd love to welcome you.

What should I expect?
A warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere, great music, and cake! Our services include singing, praying, words from the Bible, and teaching about how to follow Jesus. There's normally a chance to be prayed for during or after the services, too, if there's something specific you're concerned about. Don't worry, though - we won't ask you to do or say anything you don't want to, and there's no pressure on anyone.
Our services are live-streamed on YouTube, and you can view previous ones here, to give you a better idea of what goes on.

What about my children?
Children are welcome here. Most weeks there are groups and activities for ages 0 - 17, or they can stay in the main worship area if they'd prefer. There's more information here!

Is the building accessible?
Yes. We have wheelchair access, disabled toilets, and a hearing loop. It's a modern and comfortable space, and you can sit at the back if you want - especially if you're new and not sure how things go.

What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in - there's no dress code.

What's next?
