Jesus said, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?" (John 14:1-2)

Losing someone that we love is so hard. At Christ Church we are here for you in these times of sorrow and mourning. We will pray for you, offer you comfort and hope, and our trained team of clergy can support you through the funeral, and beyond.

Because we don't have a churchyard here, we often take funerals at local cemeteries and crematoria instead. If you'd like one of us to journey with you through this dark time, just be in touch (or ask your Funeral Director to contact us on your behalf).

Planning your Visit

New to church?

For most of us, life feels like a journey. Faith is a bit like a journey too, and coming along to church can be a really helpful way to get some guidance on the path. We'd love to meet you.

Why not just turn up on Sunday at 10.30am? You'll get a warm welcome. You don't need to wear anything special, or worry about feeling out of place. You won't be singled out, and you won't be asked to do anything you don't want to do. You can find out more about the services here.
