Baptism at Christ Church
Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." Mathew 28:16-20.

Baptism is a significant moment in our journey of faith. We love to baptise people here at Christ Church. As you can see from the photo above, we have our own baptismal pool at the front of the church - and there's also a font if you'd prefer not to be baptised by full immersion. If you're a new believer in Jesus, or if you've been a believer for a while and haven't yet been baptised, we'd love to do this for you. Just get in touch and we'll start the conversation!

It may be that you're here because you're thinking about having your child baptised. This is something we'd love to explore with you too - again, just get in touch to get the conversation started!

We meet together every Sunday morning at 10:30am, and we'd love to welcome you.

What should I expect?
A warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere, great music, and cake! Our services include singing, praying, words from the Bible, and teaching about how to follow Jesus. There's normally a chance to be prayed for during or after the services, too, if there's something specific you're concerned about. Don't worry, though - we won't ask you to do or say anything you don't want to, and there's no pressure on anyone.
Our services are live-streamed on YouTube, and you can view previous ones here, to give you a better idea of what goes on.

What about my children?
Children are welcome here. Most weeks there are groups and activities for ages 0 - 17, or they can stay in the main worship area if they'd prefer. There's more information here!

Is the building accessible?
Yes. We have wheelchair access, disabled toilets, and a hearing loop. It's a modern and comfortable space, and you can sit at the back if you want - especially if you're new and not sure how things go.

What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in - there's no dress code.
