When and where do we meet?
10.30am every Sunday at Christ Church, Grange Farm Road, IP11 2XD.

We also have a monthly Bubble Church at 9.30am - a church service for little ones! We meet in the room upstairs. Find out more here.

Our main services normally last around 90 minutes, while our monthly all age and Bubble Church services are shorter.

Getting here:
You can walk or drive (there's a small carpark next to the church, and you can also park in the pub / supermarket carpark opposite). Or you can travel by bus - the number 75 stops opposite the church at about 10am on Sunday mornings.

If you're visiting for the first time:

  • You can view our services online to get a feel for things before you come
  • You can sit anywhere you like - and we have comfortable chairs, not hard pews
  • You can wear whatever you're comfortable in
  • You won't be singled out, or asked to do anything you're not comfortable with
  • You don't need to put any money in the collection bag when it comes round
  • You can slip in quietly, and leave before the end if you'd like - whatever works for you
  • Your kids can join the groups, or stay with you if they prefer
  • You're welcome to come along and observe if that's helpful - there's no pressure to stay, or to engage any more than you want to

What about my children?
Children and young people are really welcome here, and we have a variety of ministries on offer for them. Click here to find out more. All our leaders are DBS checked and trained in safeguarding.

The creche space is available during services, and includes loudspeakers so parents / carers can remain connected to what's going on in the worship area. Find out more here. If you want to know more about this or any other area of life here just speak to one of our welcome team when you arrive, or get in touch beforehand by clicking here.

Is the building accessible?
Yes. Our building has step-free access, accessible toilets, and easily moveable seating to aid those with mobility needs. We also have a hearing loop.

If you have specific needs, please do let us know - we'd love to help.

Is it easy to get to know people?
One of the elements of our vision is that we are relational. Every Sunday we offer hospitality after our services, with tea, coffee, cold drinks, and normally home-made cakes / biscuits. People often hang around to chat for an hour or more after the service finishes, so you won't have to rush away if you don't want to.

We also offer a number of small groups during the week, and if you want to join one of these you'd be welcome to. We'd love to get to know you.

What's next?
Come along! If you want to let us know you're coming, you can use the form below (or just turn up). If you have questions, or want to know more, just get in touch. We can't wait to meet you.

New to church?

For most of us, life feels like a journey. Faith is a bit like a journey too, and coming along to church can be a really helpful way to get some guidance on the path. We'd love to meet you.

Why not just turn up on Sunday at 10.30am? You'll get a warm welcome. You don't need to wear anything special, or worry about feeling out of place. You won't be singled out, and you won't be asked to do anything you don't want to do. You can find out more about the services here.

We can't wait to meet you.
