Sizewell 2027 

Friday 29th - Sunday 31st January

We are delighted that Mark Aldridge has agreed to be our guest speaker this year. Mark has been ordained since 1989 and has served nearly all of his ministry in London. In 2010 he also took on the role of overseeing the international ministry of New Wine and this took him to over 30 nations worldwide, preaching the gospel and encouraging people into the life of being filled with the Holy Spirit and serving others with their spiritual gifts. He is also the author of a book called ‘Learning to Hear Gods Voice”. Nowadays he is retired, but serves as a Spiritual Director helping clergy and others to go deeper with their walk with Christ. Mark is married to Kate and they have four adult children. When he is not working he is passionate about playing tennis, watching his beloved football team in League Two and enjoying theatre, film, reading, writing and going off on camping adventures. 

Over the weekend, we will have worship and teaching sessions while the Youth and Young Children will have their own separate programme of activities. Saturday afternoon is a time to relax, chat, explore the beach and surrounding area, before we come together in the evening for some entertainment and fun. Sunday will see us all gathering for a time of family worship, praise and to celebrate Holy Communion together. This will be followed by Sunday lunch, provided by our excellent catering team, to set us up for the journey home.

Please note that places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis, with priority given to regular worshippers at Christ Church and their dependants. 

Booking requests will go live on the website on Sunday 8th November (the form will appear on this page), with paper forms also available at the main service on that day. Booking requests will stay open until 29th November.
