Ignite Youth

We run a fantastic programme for our young people at Christ Church. If you're in years 7 to 13, this is for you!

We meet most Sunday mornings during the service, in our room upstairs. Our leaders are all passionate followers of Jesus, and they want to encourage you in your own journey of life, faith, and discipleship. There's space to think and chat about different topics, to study the Bible together, to pray for one another, and to make friends.

We offer:

• A safe space for everyone
• Fun and thought-provoking discussions and activities
• A chance to make long-lasting friendships
• Leaders who will pray for you, and who are up to date with safeguarding training and DBS checks

Other activities

All of us have a part to play here at Christ Church, and this applies as much to our young people as to everybody else. Our Ignite Youth group are regularly involved in loads of different ministries across the church, including leading services, running the tech, playing and singing in our worship group, and more.

Once a month we have an 'all age' service, where the whole church family comes together to worship. We regularly ask the Ignite Youth group to plan and lead this service, and it's been fantastic to see our young people thriving as they've taken on this responsibility.
