The Big Plastic Count

We are facing a global plastic crisis.

Plastic is a major problem for creation: clogging waterways; fouling the air as it burns; snaring and poisoning wildlife; and affecting the lives of billions of people living in poverty. Tearfund (one of our mission partners) is encouraging church communities to get involved in the 'Big Plastic Count' this year.

The Big Plastic Count is the UK's biggest people-powered investigation into household plastic waste. To get involved, you simply count every piece of plastic packaging you throw away from the 9th to the 15th of March, and submit your count online.

By taking part, you'll help gather important evidence to show the true scale of the plastic crisis. The findings will be used to urge the UK government to be more ambitious in their domestic policy, to reduce plastic production and prioritise reusable packaging.

WIll you join more than 30,000 people this March? Let's count our way to a cleaner future!

Planning your Visit

We're so glad to see you!

Happy people worshipping in the church

We meet together every Sunday morning at 10:30am, and we'd love to welcome you.

What should I expect?
A warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere, great music, and cake! Our services include singing, praying, words from the Bible, and teaching about how to follow Jesus. There's normally a chance to be prayed for during or after the services, too, if there's something specific you're concerned about. Don't worry, though - we won't ask you to do or say anything you don't want to, and there's no pressure on anyone.
Our services are live-streamed on YouTube, and you can view previous ones here, to give you a better idea of what goes on.

What about my children?
Children are welcome here. Most weeks there are groups and activities for ages 0 - 17, or they can stay in the main worship area if they'd prefer. There's more information here!

Is the building accessible?
Yes. We have wheelchair access, disabled toilets, and a hearing loop. It's a modern and comfortable space, and you can sit at the back if you want - especially if you're new and not sure how things go.

What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in - there's no dress code.
