Alpha starts in January

Starts 14th January 2026, 6.30pm at the church.

If you have friends or family members who don't have a faith in Jesus, but who might be interested, invite them to Alpha!

If you're interested in finding out more about the Christian faith, then Alpha is a really good way to explore this. We meet each week, and there's hot food included. Find out more here.

We need helpers of all sorts - cooks, welcomers, people to be part of small groups (don't worry, you don't need to say anything if you don't want to!) We also need guests, so please do be inviting your friends and families - over Christmas, people often think about things of faith, so it's a great opportunity to tell them about Alpha. We meet together every Sunday morning at 10:30am, and we'd love to welcome you.

What should I expect?
A warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere, great music, and cake! Our services include singing, praying, words from the Bible, and teaching about how to follow Jesus. There's normally a chance to be prayed for during or after the services, too, if there's something specific you're concerned about. Don't worry, though - we won't ask you to do or say anything you don't want to, and there's no pressure on anyone.
Our services are live-streamed on YouTube, and you can view previous ones here, to give you a better idea of what goes on.

What about my children?
Children are welcome here. Most weeks there are groups and activities for ages 0 - 17, or they can stay in the main worship area if they'd prefer. There's more information here!

Is the building accessible?
Yes. We have wheelchair access, disabled toilets, and a hearing loop. It's a modern and comfortable space, and you can sit at the back if you want - especially if you're new and not sure how things go.

What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in - there's no dress code.
